The concept of the Atman and the Brahman and the modern physics

The concept of Atman and Brahman is the complete understanding of the parmanent solution of the ultimate absolute of the universe. According to the Upanishads part of Vedas, there are two fundamental entities of the universe along with or without the material world. These two entities are the eternal identities of the material world.

The discoveries of the modern physics are still not parmanent. The theories of the modern physics  have been challenged after some period of time or decade or century. Physics is still in progressive mode and the theories of physics are in evolutionary state. Physics has still not declared its completeness. But Upanishads part of Vedas has completed  the further evolution of the Vedas. One can write many commentaries or interpretation of Vedas but further addition of any doctrine in Vedas has been completed by the doctrines of Upanishads. Presently the most accepted and popular theories of the modern physics are Big Bang, Point of Singularity, quantum mechanics, theory of relativity and string theory, M theory, Standard Model, etc which have been established by the observation, experiment and mathematical modelling of the universe. But the String Theory has been also challenged by someone modern physicists. But the concept of Atman and Brahman is still not been challenged and falsified by any other understanding.

According to Upanishads, there will always be an individual seer and the universal seer. The individual seer is called as Atman and the universal seer is called as Brahman. The individual seer is that who experiences this material world and have some understanding of this world. The universal seer is that who is the superposition of all the individual seers and synchronising them in the material world.

Yajnavalkya Statue at Uchchaith Bhagwati Mandir

Yajnavalkya in his doctrine " अहं ब्रह्मास्मि " meaning " I am the Brahman" mentioned in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad had declared that Atman is identical to the Brahman. One who understands this doctrine is self a Brahman.

Similarly Maharshi Shandilya in his doctrine " सर्वं खल्विदं ब्रह्म: " meaning " All this is Brahman " mentioned in Chhandogya Upanishads had declared that all the existence are the part of the Brahman.

Kapil Ashram - Kapila wrote his Shankhya Shastra here

In the Shankhya Shastra school, all the existence are explained in the terms of Prakriti and Purusha.

From my study of the modern physics what I have understood that these doctrines of Upanishads are yet not challenged and falsified by any great physicists. Even I have found many sources which give  descriptions of Schrodinger that he support the concept of  Atman and Brahman in Upanishads.

The major difference between the modern physics and Upanishads is that Physics is more focused on the truth of the nature which can be tested by experiments and instruments and can be used in the development of the new technological dimensions of the world but Upanishads is more focused on the self realisation of the world by the inner self ( Atman ) using mind and Brain as laboratory. The Atman is pure consciousness and Brahman is the total and ultimate universal consciousness.

Nowadays the term " Consciousness " has also got significant intentions in the realm of Physics.

The society requires both the understandings for the physical and spiritual development of the world.

According to Upanishads, the concept of the Atman and the Brahman are absolute and eternal.
